Location
Facing South China Sea, Dongguan is located in the middle part of Guangdong Province, South China. Dongguan is also the central area of Pearl River Delta, with a total area of 2465 square kilometers.
Dongguan is 50 kilometers away from Guangzhou, 90 kilometers to Hong Kong/Shenzhen and 47 sea miles away from Hongkong. Dongguan is just located between Guangzhou and Hongkong, the most developed and dynamic regions in China.

Climate
Dongguan has a mild Sub-tropical Oceanic climate. Therefore, Dongguan enjoys plenty of sunshine and ample rainfall. The annual average temperature is 22℃ and annual average rainfall is 2042mm.

Natural Resources
Being an alluvial plain of Pearl River and East River, Dongguan is rich in fertilized land and flourishing woods. And it is also famous for South China's special fruits such as banana, pineapple, lichee, longan .etc.
